A Different Perspective on Dark Valleys

Even in the valley of the shadow, the sun still shines.
Even when we say, "Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,” We can also say to our God who is light, "even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you."
Notice what is available in the valley that is either not available or less available on the side or top of a mountain:
👉A constant stream of water (streams of living water, to quench the thirst of a weary soul)
👉Way more people are in the valley, than those you will find hiking on the side or top of a mountain. You might just find the valley of the shadow is more populated than you realized.
👉Different vegetation and species of plants (you are nourished differently in the valley)
👉Roads and cars (more options for getting through the valley than you may have thought)
May the God of light who is with you in the valley of the shadow of death help you continue to find joy on your unchosen journey.
