Persevering when prayers are not answered

Updated: Jan 25, 2021

Continuing to pray for, encourage, and show kind grace to that friend, spouse, child, coworker who does not have a relationship with Jesus for the rest of your life, even when you never see any outward evidence of change... this my friend is a life well lived.

Enduring, persevering, and holding onto the Jesus you have never seen, but whom you trust by a reasonable faith, through the power of his Spirit, this is your spiritual act of worship, which is of great worth to the Lord you love.

Your prayers are always worth being spoken

Your prayers, rising as incense from your broken heart to the throne of grace, are always worth being spoken.

Speaking to the King on behalf of his creation, these prayers carry eternal value even if the outcome you hope for never occurs.

"...we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us." Romans 5:3-5
